Think of fire. And then glass. But don’t stop there, with the sense of an ancient artistic tradition like that of mosaic (in Italy, the Sicilian ones in Piazza Armerina unveiled the world’s first bikinis in history). Instead, imagine a micro-mosaic of Murano glass tiles, very small and thin, hand-set on a frame of glasses. The decoration? Red, yellow, green, and blue flowers, with leaves, pistils, and detailed petals.
The idea of embellishing glasses with a floral-themed mosaic comes from Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the collection is called Dolce & Gabbana Mosaic.
