Womsh Sustainable Sneakers

A small replicated gesture can lead to unexpected results. It all starts with a choice. That of Womsh, the Italian brand of recyclable sneakers with zero impact founded in 2014 by Gianni dalla Mora, is to respect the Planet. Here’s how: 12,000 m2 of preserved forest, over 74 tons of carbon dioxide emissions offset; 1,500 pairs of recycled sneakers, 90% renewable energy used. All thanks to the collaboration with Lifegate, an important reference point for sustainable development through the business model “People, Planet, and Profit”. An commitment by the Venetian company also translates into a useful and beautiful product, with character, fun, and youthful. No compromise on the economic and environmental side: “sustainability, besides being an ethical and moral duty of companies, represents a source of competitive advantage, opens the way to new growing markets, and innovative ways to reduce costs and risks,” explains the company. Choose the change is the slogan of Womsh, acronym of Word of Mouth Shoes, which in addition to the production commitment, has also forged a partnership with Il Giardino di Betty, the project supported by esosport to give new life to old Womsh by turning them into shock-absorbing flooring for children’s play areas. Among the new season offerings is also a vegan line made from apple skin obtained from apple processing waste.
