Vault by Vans becomes a partner of the British brand Baracuta presenting an exclusive collection of footwear and clothing.

From its beginnings as a rainwear manufacturer in Manchester, England, Baracuta has become famous worldwide as the brand that created the iconic G9 jacket, designed for the golf course, commonly known as the Swing Jacket. Brothers John and Isaac Miller founded Baracuta in the heart of the industrial northwest of England, producing rainwear for established brands like Burberry. In the 1930s, the Miller brothers began to grow the Baracuta name as an independent brand, creating a series of unique designs, each with an alphanumeric codename.

The Vault by Vans Baracuta collection is led by the Old Skool VLT LX from Vans, which overlays Vans’ sidestripe and checkerboard pattern onto the classic Fraser Tartan plaid. The Sk8-Hi VLT LX nods to Baracuta’s outerwear roots with a cargo pocket on the side; while the Slip-On VLT LX uses the original Baracuta logo on an embossed checkerboard print.

The Vault by Vans Baracuta collection will be available at selected Vault by Vans retailers starting from December 5, 2020.
