The characters from Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda become protagonists of an exclusive capsule collection by Vans. The American streetwear brand presents the new limited edition clothing and accessories collection, unique thanks to prints inspired by the unforgettable 8-bit elements and comics of the first console of the Japanese video game giant Nintendo Entertainment System. For a complete retro look from head to toe: the collection includes T-shirts, backpacks, bags, socks, and hats, characterized by both brands and graphics that recall the Classic footwear.
The range of sneakers Vans x Nintendo Classic starts with four versions of the Authentic model. The first colorway is the one from Super Mario Bros. Tie-dye takes you to the mushroom kingdom and features an all-over print of the protagonist next to various “power-ups” and the evil Goomba. A second design features the damsel in distress par excellence, Princess Peach, waiting to be saved by the brave plumber. Duck Hunt is reimagined on a pixelated camouflage background, with the unforgettable hunting dog and flying duck. Lastly, the Donkey Kong-inspired version showcases images of the friendly gorilla and a special floral pattern. The iconic laceless Vans model Classic Slip-on enters the line with a graphic theme and quotes from The Legend of Zelda. For true fans and collectors.
