One of the most appreciated members of the “air max” range returns in an interesting colorway.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and seen on feet of everyone since 1990, the Air Max 90 renewed and expanded the conceptual possibilities of Nike Air. The original model featured a larger Air unit than its predecessors and a revamped aesthetic in key areas: textured inserts on the upper and new color combos brought light to a silhouette that was meant to capture the hearts of enthusiasts after the legendary and unforgettable Air Max 1.

This edition draws directly from those origins and does so with the iconic waffle sole, stitched outer layers, and classic TPU details. The new color scheme livens up the silhouette, while the Max Air cushioning remains a cornerstone of the genre over thirty years later.

The Air Max 90 Deep Royal Blue releases on January 19 at the best stores worldwide and online on the official Nike website.

[UPDATE] The official Swoosh release schedule has experienced significant delays, including notably these two air max 90s scheduled for the third week of January. The next official date is postponed to February 6.
