That’s right. Trekking-style sneakers will be very trendy this fall-winter season as well. On the catwalks (see the shows of various brands including Valentino) and on the streets, the models with characteristic metal eyelets and large contrasting laces are winning. The sneaker line is urban and contemporary, so you can wear them at any time of the day; during your free time, but not only. They are suitable for city walks, countryside strolls, and in some cases, they are also suitable for the office. Among this season’s ‘hot’ models, which are the perfect mix between hiking boots and the newest sneakers, to wear with jeans, chinos, or in some cases, a formal pantsuit with a streamlined silhouette (see Dsquared2‘s model or that of Brioni, total black and refined, in leather, velvet, and knit), we find the Gady sneaker by Bally in cognac brown and sky blue suede leather with black tubular profiles. A technical hiking cord laces up via lace hooks, and a ribbon pull tab with logo sits on the heel. The shoe by Blauer has bolder colors, with a high sole, while the Leave No Trace model by Moncler draws inspiration from technical clothing, with a sole clearly inspired by hiking; to be worn in the city and adapted to everyday outfits. The trekking-style sneakers by Corneliani are knitted and decidedly chic, while for more sporty types, there is Off-White‘s model, with a round toe, Velcro closure plus laces, and a rear tab. Lastly, we cannot forget a new proposal for autumn/winter 2019-20 concerning an iconic shoe by Gucci: the Flashtrek. A bestseller shoe characterized by an oversized sole and a dynamic mix of colors and materials: leather, suede, technical fabric, and reflex.
