This year also confirms the dominance of sneakers. Comfort in the spotlight, but the evolution is focused on the shapes, more rounded and enveloping; on leathers and soles – no longer just canvas and suede, perhaps with fur lining -, but also on hand brushed calf leather with shaded gradients or on exquisite suede.

The predominant sole is the shark tooth or smooth one, like a tennis shoe. The classic logos abandon the pretense of conquering the entire upper reducing themselves in size and taking shelter in more discreet positions. With some exceptions for more winter models like snow boots. For more formal models, from the brogue to the moccasin, to the desert boot, the first choice is quality leather: French calfskin, reversed, hand brushed Mississippi Alligator, the precious and resistant Razza leather or lizard leather with pearlization on the scales. There are also some who dare more and choose to personalize the sole with designs under the sole or on the upper, like Flemish paintings or metropolitan graffiti.
