Back in the ’90s. Do you remember the two-tone baseball t-shirts, with three-quarter sleeves that were so popular in the 1990s? To the delight of all nostalgics, they are back in fashion. Bradley Cooper, the star of the cult saga “The Hangover,” seen strolling the streets of New York wearing one, is proof of this. Given that we are witnessing a strong comeback of ’80s and ’90s fashion, it was unthinkable not to foresee the reappearance of one of the most beloved pieces from those years.
We have chosen models from American Vintage, in linen, and Our Legacy, in cotton jersey. Riccardo Tisci for the men’s collection of Givenchy for Fall-Winter 2017-18 had already brought this type of t-shirt to the catwalk, albeit in his own way. The world of sports has always been an important source of inspiration for the acclaimed fashion designer; among his bestsellers are the high NikeLab x RT Air Force 1 sneakers in black, red, and blue leather with a front closure. Guess who is wearing the same shoes? Bradley Cooper. The best way to complete the look is to opt for a pair of jeans. We have chosen a dark model from Levi’s in the Made & Crafted line. And to finish off, a baseball-style cap like the t-shirt – the New Era one is in water-repellent rubberized cotton and extremely flexible – or a pair of sunglasses like those from Fendi, the Angle line, with 3D rubber inserts in contrasting colors or from Tommy Hilfiger, with the logo engraved on a metal plaque adorning the temple.
