There are moments in a country’s pop culture that are unforgettable. The queues for Lidl sneakers will remain among those, along with queues for the kitchen robot or for the pizza stone (also from Lidl).
This colorful cultural phenomenon of 2020 not only caused a stir during the sales period, but also afterwards, when it was easy to find Lidl sneakers online at crazy prices, even ten or twenty times more than the original price (12.99 euros, for the record).

If you missed out on this iconic wardrobe piece last year, you’ll be happy to know that the legendary sneakers will return to Lidl stores on July 5. They will come in a revamped version, with a more ‘significant’ sole, and will also bring along a collection of clothing and accessories perfect for the summer, in addition to the socks and slippers that were already released in 2020. The 2021 Fan Collection for men and women will feature t-shirts with two different fits, either the traditional straight cut or the slightly flared version, shorts, flip-flops, beach towels, soft shoppers, and even mini balls in three versions: classic soccer, rugby, and beach volleyball.

The Lidl collection offers a total summer look. You can choose to stand out from afar by selecting items and accessories with the logo and the blue/yellow/red combination, or opt for softer and more discreet colors or mix it up (because you know, in medio stat virtus).
