The Nike shoes of President Obama

Barack Obama, in recent days, visited the Nike headquarters in Oregon and met with all the employees. A special visit that deserved not just one pair of sneakers, but two, even more remarkable. The President, in fact, returned to Washington with a pair of Air Jordan 11Lab4 Shining (a mix of Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 4, both painted) and the very first pair of Nike MTM, a model designed by Mark Parker, CEO of Nike, the famous designer Tinker Hatfield and Michael Jordan.

This is not the first time that the President of the United States has been gifted a pair of sneakers: in 2012, just before his presidential campaign, he received a pair of New Balance 990 “Made in USA”, a unique model designed specifically to remind him of the importance of local industry and production.
