**Reebok Classic **tuned to rap! The sportswear brand celebrates once again Kendrick Lamar, the Grammy Award-winning rapper from 2016, with the AI 2016/17 capsule collection Classic Leather Perfect Split Pack, created with the help of designer **Ian Paley. **The sneakers develop the concept of “Perfect split,” interpreting and representing the contrasting traits of the American artist’s personality. The white upper in leather and fabric enhances the shoe’s silhouette, which is interrupted only by the soft colored suede inserts and the Gum sole with ICE inserts.
To celebrate this project, the renowned photographer and director **Nabil Elderkin **has created a specialized advertising campaign, using exclusively vintage equipment. The shots (in the above gallery) depict the rapper in poses that manage to perfectly describe all the nuances of his character. Despite his growing fame, the artist from Compton remains strongly tied to his roots and is aware of the responsibility that success carries. Therefore, he wants to be a spokesperson and role model for the new generations, to witness deep values, thanks to his strong and impartial stance towards gang struggles.
