Functional yet cool and with a sophisticated design. NikeLab presents the new sneakers Lunar Force 1 created in collaboration with **Acronym,** a famous German streetstyle brand. “When Nike contacted us to work on this iconic sneaker model, the first thing we asked ourselves was: ‘why should we do it? Is there something that Nike isn’t already able to achieve that we could add?'” recounts Errolson Hugh of Acronym. “We decided to take on this challenge, analyzing form and function and seeking to enhance them. The prototype was born from an existing model. With tape, highlighters, scissors, and glue, we developed it. Building it in full size allowed us to understand its exact functionality: that of a shoe that slips on with extreme ease.”
