The new adidas x Gucci sneakers will drive Harry Styles crazy

There is no doubt, whether you like to admit it or not, that adidas and Gucci are meant for each other. After their first drop in 2022 that dominated headlines worldwide, the German sportswear company and the Italian fashion house are back with a spring/summer 2023 proposal. A very pleasant comeback. Unlike the collection from last season, which was oriented towards an après-ski aesthetic, adidas x Gucci 2023 screams “festival-chic” from all angles. The drop – presented with a campaign that also featured AC Milan forward Rafael Leão – features a range of satin jackets, velvet tracksuits, matching shorts, turtleneck sweaters, and V-neck t-shirts; each piece is adorned with the adidas Trefoil motif and Gucci house codes. The capsule also includes a wide selection of baseball caps, bucket hats, and duffel bags, perfect for those looking to attend Glastonbury in style.

Of course, we can’t talk about the 2023 drop without mentioning the sneakers: 11 models in total, including four versions of Harry Styles’ favorite Gazelle in black, blue, green, and grey. The collection also introduces Gucci’s first interpretation of the legendary ZX 8000, available in four colorways, one of which reimagines the 1988 Aqua model in a luxury key. The latter features a smooth base covered in the “GG” monogram and suede overlays that wrap the toe, laces, and heel. To top off the summer adventure, the collection ends with a trio of chunky slides. Ribbed socks are also available in all sizes. The new spring/summer 2023 adidas x Gucci collection is available on the Gucci website and in selected stores. Needless to say, the prices are definitely premium, but so is the payoff.
