Big comeback from Nike. To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the release of the Air Max 97 sneakers, the sportswear brand reintroduces, exclusively for the Italian market, the iconic shoe model, better known as Silver, that has dressed entire generations of young people from the nineties and early two thousands.

Designed by Christian Tresser and inspired by the super-fast Japanese “bullet train”, when it was released, the model was also the first to feature the technological Air unit along the sole, decisively changing (once and for all) the design of sneakers that were subsequently presented in the market. The limited edition of the Nike Silver, available from October 5 at NikeLab, Slam Jam, Excelsior, LuisaViaRoma and in many other selected stores, has however undergone a modification that makes it unique again: the tongue and the lace at the back now feature the colors of the Italian tricolor.
