Adidas Originals arrives in Milan. The first flagship store of the sportswear brand opens in the city, at via Alessio Toqueville 11. To celebrate the opening, Adidas Originals involved seven emerging artists from the Milanese scene (including Armando Aiello, Daniel Sansavini, and Francesco Nazardo, eds) with different backgrounds and ambitions, spanning publishing, design, fashion to reinterpret the brand’s Manifesto.
The result? A true cultural project that celebrates creativity and its diverse forms: from a fanzine containing all the works of the artists who found a strong bond with Milan, to the installation of the same throughout the city, culminating in a collective of all the artworks displayed inside the store.
“The new flagship store has proven to add further momentum to our successful history worldwide”, says Arthur Hoeld, general manager of Adidas Originals. “Stores allow us to provide new and exciting experiences to our consumers but also celebrate, at the same time, a reconnection with cities.
