If these words mean something to you, then you will be as excited as we are about the upcoming collaboration between the Californian brand Stüssy and the label Comme des Garçons. The capsule collection is created for the 40th anniversary of the brand founded by former surfer Shawn Stüssy, considered a pioneer of streetwear and loved by those who have never even set foot on a surfboard. Inside, you can find many iconic pieces ranging from a green nylon satin bomber jacket to a thin striped jacket with matching pants, from graphic t-shirts playing on both brands’ logos to a thick cotton duffel bag. Even a hat. Available starting on Friday, November 13 on both labels’ e-shops, as well as at the Dover Street Market stores in New York and Los Angeles and in a selection of Stüssy boutiques, it is almost certain that it will sell out within a few hours. The campaign accompanying the launch was shot by London-based photographer Theo Sion.
