Given the long-standing collaboration (the first collection dates back to s/s 2005) between designer Stella McCartney and Adidas, we were expecting it after all. The famous English fashion designer has put her own spin on the legendary Stan Smith model, adding new details.

The Stella #stansmith are naturally leather-free, perfectly in tune with the designer’s lifestyle, unisex, and feature logo stars on the sides in place of the original perforations; on the heel, they have a double burgundy and blue stripe and display the Stella McCartney-Adidas double logo. The typical details of the English fashion house blend with the iconic design of this model, loved by entire generations, giving life to a unique and surprising creation. In homage to Stan Smith, the face of the great tennis player remains printed on the tongue of the right shoe, while the portrait and signature of Stella adorn the left foot. A unisex model that will especially appeal to those who care about the ecosystem and, in particular, animal health. The Stella #stansmith have been on sale since September 10th (the designer’s birthday), on the brand’s website and in selected retailers worldwide.
