Star Wars x Adidas Boba Fett, images, price and release date of the most anticipated sneakers of 2020

Star Wars x Adidas Boba Fett is the name of the new sneakers designed to delight Star Wars fans. A model born from an idea by Adidas in anticipation of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back. These are a pair of sneakers inspired by one of the most charismatic characters in the film: Boba Fett, the legendary bounty hunter with Mandalorian armor hired by the Empire, who in George Lucas‘ saga was played by the English actor Jeremy Bulloch.

The sneakers designed by Adidas are inspired by the classic Top Ten Hi model. They are a shoe with a military green synthetic leather upper with the classic three stripes, also in the same color, enriched with red inserts, light brown leather reinforcements, grey soles, a set of white laces fixed by a lacelock bearing the “STAR WARS” inscription, and a padded tongue featuring a Boba Fett print. As if that weren’t enough, the Star Wars x Adidas Boba Fett include a small brown eco-leather bag, a tribute to the pouch that Boba Fett carried in the movie.

Although chronologically the fifth episode of the Star Wars saga, The Empire Strikes Back is actually the second movie to be released in theaters. A story much darker than the first where it was no longer necessary to introduce the heroes and the environment in which they move, as the relationships of the characters were deepened, overturning their beliefs and putting them in extreme situations.

This is not the first time that Adidas has paid homage to the saga created by George Lucas. It happened just a month ago with the Stan Smith inspired by Luke Skywalker or the NMD R1 that recall the stormtroopers, the elite assault units of the imperial army. Those who want to have the new Star Wars x Adidas Boba Fett will have to wait until September 25. The exclusive package of these sneakers with dedicated packaging will include a Star Wars poster and lace decorations. All at the price of 109.95 euros.
