Sneakers, upcoming models in April

Every month we take a look at the coolest sneakers in circulation: new releases, collaborations, reissues, and timeless classics. The sneaker market is constantly expanding, and they are a cult accessory where designers love to unleash their creativity. Here are our picks.

adidas by Stella McCartney

Inspired by the environments of Brooklyn boxers and designed for high-performance training, the new Boxing sneakers are ultralight and padded, featuring rubber soles that provide impeccable grip in the ring and suede profiles that wrap around the foot for added support during every move.

Bally

The collaboration between the Swiss brand and Vibram continues for Spring-Summer 2020 with Vegas: these sneakers benefit from Arctic Grip technology, ensuring superb grip in extreme weather conditions such as wet ice or snow on a steep descent.

Saucony

This is the second drop for the Grid Azura 2000: a premium 1990s-inspired model from the brand that combines overlays, color play, and textures with Grid technology. The standout feature is definitely the bold color scheme.

Tommy Jeans

The sneakers from the TOMMY JEANS Looney Tunes® capsule collection are shaped with denim inserts and cartoon prints. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner, and Wile E. Coyote appear from the cuts in the leather and on the sole in a sporty celebration of some of the most beloved pop icons.

Fila

The FILA ADL99 introduces three new color combinations: the first features a white mesh upper outlined in black and enhanced by flashes of orange; the second variant incorporates a white base with beige panels interrupted by electric blue embroidery paired with a red interior for a distinctly retro look. The trio is completed by a more understated variation with gray highlights and hints of red overlaying a white and navy base. For all variants, the sole is white with color accents matching the upper.

Mizuno Sportstyle

Time is the protagonist of the Shape of Time capsule collection by the Japanese brand. The retro-style running models, available from April 11th, are designed to remind us of the nature of time, which now more than ever we cannot control, and are the stars of the digital campaign #ShapeYourTime where the brand invites its aficionados to share how they spend time away from their usual preferred activities.
