Country you go, sneakers you find. This is the research summarized by StockX, the reselling platform where you can sell and buy sneakers, clothing, and streetwear accessories. StockX decided to reveal some of its local data through a ranking of the best-selling sneakers in different European countries at the end of last year. According to the analysts at Piper Jaffray, an American investment bank, the global sneaker reselling market is now worth about 6 billion dollars and is expected to represent 25% of the global sneaker market by 2023, up from the current 10%. StockX itself has seen a 372% increase in European users in the last year. The picture that emerges is quite interesting, for example, it shows that in Italy, the Jordan 1 is the easiest sneaker to find, a shoe that has transcended sports and basketball culture, linked to one of the most venerated figures by Italians, Michael Jordan. In France, on the other hand, the Nike Air Force 1 is a big hit, while in England, adidas Yeezys have seen a 309% increase. Below are some curiosities.
