Sneakers of March, the upcoming models

A swallow does not make spring, but a pair of new sneakers does! Between celebrative reeditions of iconic models and new releases, here are the coolest kicks to look out for in the month of March according to us at GQ.

New Balance 911 Made in Uk

Twenty years after its launch, an iconic model that captured an entire generation (Steve Jobs first and foremost) returns. We are talking about the New Balance 911, the sneaker that revolutionized the design and performance of trainers thanks to the Abzorb insert in the midsole that has enhanced both reactivity and comfort performance like never before. Today, the American brand relaunches them with a special Anniversary Pack that will delight collectors and nostalgics.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ash Stone

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350s are undoubtedly among the most recognizable models created by Kanye West’s volcanic creativity. The galaxy expands with yet another item destined to become a cult classic: the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in the Ash Stone variant, a meshed upper in earth tones, mounted on the now legendary cushioned Boost sole.

Puma Suede XXI

Another release that retraces the glories of the past to conquer today’s sneaker-addicted: it’s the Puma Suede, riding high for over 50 years, a classic that remixes past and future. Relaunched with a shape that faithfully reflects the original, the new Suede Classic XXI is available in a rich selection of colors with a full suede upper, the iconic Puma Formstrip in contrast on the side, and the fabric label with logo on the tongue.

Maison Margiela x Reebok

Maison Margiela and Reebok announce the launch of the Classic Leather Tabi in white and black versions, two new models part of an ongoing collaboration that started a few months ago. Inspired by the codes developed by creative director John Galliano, the sneaker embodies the characteristics of the French fashion house in one of the brand’s most recognizable models. Introduced by Maison Margiela in 1988, with its distinctive split-toe structure and the characteristic imprint created by the sole, the Tabi embodies the maison’s philosophy of deconstructive design. Born as a formidable running shoe in 1983, the Classic Leather has become an essential part of the casual wardrobe and remains one of Reebok’s most recognizable and appreciated models. For this collaboration, the Classic Leather has been entirely rebuilt to adapt to the Tabi’s split-toe. In nappa leather with an EVA sole, the model is now available in white and black versions. A white or black Tabi sock is included with each pair of Classic Leather Tabi.

Moaconcept

The brand Moaconcept continues its journey in the world of art through the capsule collection ART (R)EVOLUTION, conceived in collaboration with Italian artist Andrea Crespi. Thanks to a particular optical illusion graphic technique, the artist reinterprets images of collective imagination and symbols of harmony and ecstasy, aiming to symbolize the desire for a new Renaissance.
