In March, spring comes with a load of sneakers perfect for refreshing your wardrobe. Among vibrant models, sustainable proposals, and reinterpretations of great classics, here are the must-have new releases to treat yourself to in anticipation of the beautiful season.
Saucony
Named after the fastest bird of prey, Saucony’s Peregrine 12 features a feather-light design that ensures a fast and agile stride. Now in its 12th version, it aims to offer unmatched comfort for those who enjoy off-road running (but not only). What’s new? Redesigned traction with soft and elastic PWRRUN cushioning, a new cushioned PWRRUN+ midsole, and a new protective rock plate. Furthermore, a more minimal upper with flexible overlays that protect from various trail hazards, enhanced grip, and extra foot protection. Available in two chromotherapy colorways: Cool Mint and Zizi Orange. On BergFreunde for €144.95.
Gucci
Already bringing thoughts of summer are the sneakers Rython from the fun Gucci Pineapple capsule, which reinterprets the unmistakable Maison logo with a playful pineapple print. Featuring a 40 mm high contrast rubber sole, lace-up closure, and a low environmental impact fabric upper with a maxi GG Supreme beige and ebony pattern. Already on the wish list of fashionistas worldwide. On Farfetch for €750.
Reebok
A gem for those who are passionate about cinema as well as sneakers: sportswear brand Reebok, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, announces the release of a special edition of Ghost Smasher: Ectoplasm. In celebration of the recent digital debut and the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD release of the film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a new version of the original Ghost Smasher model, included in the first collection launched in 2020, is arriving. On Reebok for €149.
Bottega Veneta
The iconic Bottega Veneta woven motif outlines the silhouette of the Plat sneakers in polyester and rubber. Unlined upper, tapered design, available in a diverse range of hues, among which stand out the vitamin-rich kiwi green, tangerine orange, and Blaster blue. On Bottega Veneta for €790.
adidas x Ivy Park
After being hidden for 20 years in the archives, the adidas Savage have been brought back to life for the collaboration with Ivy Park, the line signed by the dynamic Beyoncé. Proudly genderless, in the Ivy Heart capsule, they are reimagined in neutral shades and with fluid lines that create a versatile and characterful silhouette. Featuring a grooved rubber sole, fabric strap upper, and lace-up closure, they go well with everything. On Stock X starting at €188.
Giuseppe Zanotti
First introduced in 2015, Giuseppe Zanotti’s Blabber returns in a new eco-friendly version. The original minimal and graphic design of this sneaker inspired by the world of skaters remains unchanged, with the difference lying in the materials used, which are strictly bio-based and recycled. Assembled with water-based adhesives, the Ecoblabber boasts an upper made from a combination of polyurethane and polyester derived from recycled plastic bottles, which not only gives new life to waste but also drastically reduces CO2 emissions during the production process. Organic cotton laces and an organic origin sole complete this environmentally friendly sneaker. Available in high and low-top versions, in white and black colors, paired with vibrant touches of color, plus two special versions in silver and gold, made from pre-consumer recycled leather. On Farfetch for €550.
