Becoming a Formula 1 driver is a feat achieved by few, but feeling like a Ferrari driver is a little easier now, thanks to the new PUMA sneakers inspired by the Maranello cars, works of art that represent the most iconic and legendary in the world of motorsports.
The new ION Speed
The latest PUMA model, worn by Carlos Sainz, is called ION Speed, inspired by a prancing horse car, the SF90 Stradale: the silhouette of the sneakers reflects its aerodynamics, including the sculptural TPU detail that recalls the front wing of the production supercar.

Sleek shape and cutting-edge materials, with a construction in lightweight knit-mesh that emphasizes the ultra-modern charm of these unisex sneakers, available in four different colorways: PUMA Black, Rosso Corsa, PUMA White, and Saffron-PUMA. To enhance the sneaker, there is a 3D relief TPU injection and thermowelded TPU leather that provides additional structural protection and support in urban conditions. The ION Speed is available for sale on Puma’s website for 110 euros.

The new uniforms
One week after the launch of the new car for the 2022 season, the F1-75, Ferrari also unveiled the new team uniforms, also designed by PUMA. The team’s two drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, have appeared on social media as models, accompanied by an emblematic phrase: “A new era and a new look for 2022,” indicating a technical breakthrough (the cars will be completely new based on the new regulations) and hopefully, results to celebrate victory again since September 22, 2019, in Singapore. The color of the new Team Polo is, of course, Ferrari red, with a thin white or yellow stripe and a wide black band across the chest, continuing on the sleeves.
