Sneaker enthusiasts, attention! The month of June brings new arrivals and drops of models perfect for refreshing our wardrobe. Here are our favorites to focus on this month, from iconic editions to super performing versions.
Saucony x Saucony
Saucony celebrates itself with a limited edition high-design release of the Shadow 6000 Trail by Saucony x Saucony, reimagined in an unprecedented trail version. Inspired by high-performance outdoor running footwear, the new sneaker features hybrid aesthetics with super technical materials: on one side, the high abrasion and water-resistant Nylon Ripstop, super breathable mesh, or round laces typical of trail boots; on the other, fashion details such as premium leathers, electric blue color with lime accents in a full ’90s techno mood, and graphic marks that become decorative patterns simulating mud splashes from outdoor activities. They can be found on the Saucony website for 170 euros.

New Balance
Introducing the 880 v12, the latest version of one of the flagship models from the New Balance Fresh Foam X line. Suitable for daily running, this technical shoe with a road silhouette incorporates design features that are significantly more aerodynamic and performance-oriented. The new upper features a double layer of engineered mesh, providing increased resistance and breathability in specific areas, as well as a dual-layer midsole configuration with a new foam compound designed to provide a comfortable fit and reduce heel impact. The patented Fresh Foam X system with a low insert in the blown rubber sole is also present. Durable and soft at the same time, it also does not disappoint aesthetically with reflective details and a unique gradient paint effect on the back. The list price is 150 euros, but they can be found on Maxi Sport on offer for 125 euros.

Vans
Encouraging social change and supporting LGBTQ+ communities worldwide by using their sneakers as ready-to-wear manifestos. The latest Vans release dedicated to Pride Month 2022 has this purpose. Self-expression is celebrated through details in the Off The Wall Pride Gallery, featuring rainbows, kisses, tattoos, and writings prominently displayed on the iconic Authentic, slip-on, and signature sneakers of the brand. There are two variants, reimagined through the creativity of the designer from Hong Kong, Kaitlin Chang, and the Los Angeles-based Ashley Lukashevsky, with inspirational mantra phrases, as well as prints, embroideries, and applications that visually and pop-ly represent the positive multiplicity of sexualities and cultural identities. They can be found on the Vans website for 80 euros.

AIMFoot Locker + adidas
For the launch of the new adidas NMD v3, the latest model created by the brand recognizable by the iconic three stripes, Foot Locker launches an augmented reality platform Cypher from the Future, which is part of the Ever Changing Visions campaign created by the two giants together: users who access it can project the cypher into their environment, while the digital avatars of the 3 rappers chosen as ambassadors will virtually wear the new sneakers. But how are they in reality? The new trainers are a futuristic reinterpretation of the classic Originals model, capable of blending the classic elements of a sporty shoe with a more contemporary style, made with high-performance recycled materials and equipped with a cushioned heel with a transparent stabilizer for a layered effect. Foot Locker offers all colorways at 159.99 euros.
