Foxes, insects, and aquatic animals. Created on the computer through the deconstruction of the world’s most famous sport shoes. This is one of the favorite projects of Phil Robson, better known by the pseudonym Filfury. The “sneaker freaker” artist (as he likes to call himself) has a passion for photography and enjoys taking pictures of Nike, Adidas, Asics, and other models, and turning them into works of art. More precisely, into virtual and robotically-looking 3.0 animals.
It all starts with brainstorming in which the artist associates the sports shoe with the first thing that inspires him upon looking at it. An animal? An insect? It depends on the type of model being analyzed. Subsequently, he takes a photograph and digitally edits it using the computer. The result is undoubtedly a visually striking virtual zoo. What’s your favorite animal-sneaker?
