Slam Jam and New Balance pay tribute to the legendary 991 and that vintage running world.
It was in 2019 that the Boston-based brand and the Milanese store came together for their first joint project. The result was a New Balance 990v3 in the classic colorway of the mentioned silhouette. Today, the two entities bring to light a New Balance 991 continuing the celebration of its 20th anniversary.
This new project is in line with the previous collaboration: a technical project with high-quality materials. The noted NB991 moves between various grays, from anthracite to the clearest grey, incorporating silver elements. In terms of materials, the sneaker has a very technical composition with leather, ripstop nylon, suede leather, and 3M elements. A combination of colors and materials enhances the sleek and aerodynamic look of the silhouette. The Slam Jam logo is visible on the lace tag and insole.
The Slam Jam x New Balance 991 will be available on May 7th on Slam Jam, and from May 13th at select retailers.
