Like canvases in the hands of painters. Garments and accessories that seem to have been worn to play a game of paintball, footwear literally “stained” with splatters of paint, sweaters and shirts crossed by brushstrokes. To combat the winter greyness, there is nothing better than dressing in multicolor; many brands have been inspired by abstract art and specifically by the great American painter Pollock.
The Paint Splash stole by Louis Vuitton, in cotton and silk, is like a representation of a sky speckled with colorful gleams. It can be worn around the neck in any season to add personality to one’s outfit. The City Light shirt by Gant Diamond G draws inspiration from city lights, is made of cotton, and has a slim fit. And what about the cozy sweaters by Etro? Perfect examples of ready-to-wear art. Also the crew neck pullover by Antony Morato, the cotton knit field jacket by Eidos… Many proposals to seize, in-store or online, especially during sale season. And if you are still not entirely convinced and think it’s a passing trend, in our gallery you can find some previews of the S/S 2018 collections in line with this trend: from the Replica sneakers by Maison Margiela to the new Naos by Mizuno 1906 or the Dsquared2 jeans.
