In the increasingly fluid mix between casualwear and sportswear, the sneaker becomes the highlight of every respectable look, easily combining with denim as well as more structured and urban fabrics. Among the abundance of releases and ever more elaborate constructions, here are the six models not to be missed.
The Billy Snewkers by N°21, bulky shape, two-tone chunky sole, and an upper that combines leather, patent with tech inserts. New Balance 998 by Todd Snyder reimagined in a pink sunset key (the inevitable color in the designer’s collections), borrowing pink from the desert sunsets above Palm Springs and combining suede, leather, and functional details. The Solarboost by adidas is inspired by NASA’s engineering discoveries and is built with functionality in mind, a high-performance running shoe, ultra-light, equipped with the best innovations by the German brand. “Stop War, Make Love” is the message that Hide&Jack launches for Spring Summer 2018 with the Against War capsule. A limited edition that reinterprets the brand’s carryover: the Essence Croco Low model is tinged with typical camouflage shades and becomes a flag of the thought of famous personalities who have fought all forms of war and violence. Impressed under the sole, in fact, are some of the most famous quotes from personalities such as Martin Luther King, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln. Following the launch of the Disruptor last year, Fila is about to launch the Venom on the market, a lightweight model, very Nineties, and proposed in three super trendy color combos. The Salomon by The Broken Arm, the new sneakers from the collaboration that started in 2011 and that, every season, offers new must-have pieces. The XT-4S/LAB is dressed in new vibrant colors, increases chromatic contrasts, and maintains the original features that make it the perfect footwear for any terrain.
