Previewed at the Off-White show last year, this new collaboration is a kind of urban legend that struggles to materialize.

Over the past year or so, there have been occasional sightings and mysterious social media posts promising information and dates but it hasn’t happened yet. However, according to some insiders, there seems to be a more extensive production in the works that hints at a drop coming soon.

Based on the photos circulating online, it is a dual release consisting of two silhouettes, one in orange and dark blue, and secondly, there is a University of North Carolina-inspired colorway with an all-over white and powder blue upper. The structure is identical to the previous Dunk x Off-White releases. The lacing system is immediately recognizable as the tongue.

Some details differentiate and characterize the design: we’re talking about the FUTURA logo on the heel and the calligraphic “Nike Dunk Low” text on the medial side. The co-branding on the tongue label next to the Swoosh reads as “Nike OW” and “Nike FL”. A custom sketch adorns the insole.

For now, there are no further details in terms of release information or prices. The last surprise exclusive of this kind came around the holiday season, so we can hope that it might happen again this year.
