The Perugia-based brand Ruco Line chooses the prestigious stage of Pitti Uomo to present a new chapter in the brand’s history, RCLN PROJECT. The undisputed protagonist of this new adventure is the knitwear. Drawing inspiration from the past – indeed, a pair of knit shoes marked the beginning of Ruco Line’s journey – the brand creates a new footwear that looks to the future. A contemporary update of the brand’s history, signed by its new Creative Director Davide Motta, former Givenchy and Dolce&Gabbana, manifested through the use of technical materials and cutting-edge workmanship.

The collection, consisting of approximately 80 proposals, 50 for women and 30 for men, plays with a highly trendy mood inspired by the eighties. All models represent the perfect mix of vintage sporty style and high-tech treatments. Innovative combinations of different textures such as neoprene, mesh and technical nets, leather and naplack patent leather blend with plastic materials and thermowelded prints, reminiscent of the electrical circuits of early computers.
