Reebok by Pyer Moss “American, Also” collection

Now available the third part of the collection entrusted to designer Kerby Jean-Raymond’s label.

Over the past three years, Reebok and Pyer Moss have told their collaboration through three collections. “American, Also” is the capsule that aims to promote dialogue and give a voice to those who have not had it in the past. The concept of Sankofa, of fundamental importance in this latest collection, comes from a word in the Twi language of the Akan tribe in Ghana.

The meaning is “go back and take it,” a message represented in the 3 Reebok by Pyer Moss collection by a bird in the act of taking an egg on its back.

Sankofa symbolizes the idea of reclaiming one’s cultural heritage and bringing it back to life.
