PUMA x KidSuper collection

PUMA and the creative artists collective KidSuper Studios are back for a new collaboration inspired by football.

KidSuper Studios is a Brooklyn-based artist collective that mixes avant-garde elements with classic style inspirations. In 2021, this circle of creatives joins forces with PUMA for the second time, offering unique perspectives for a new collection series. Bringing to life the artworks by Colm Dillane, the founder of KidSuper, PUMA transforms classic models into never-seen-before designs.

The second PUMA x KidSuper collaboration features mix-and-match design elements, experimental prints, and challenges the conventional sneaker look. Velcro closures, zig-zag decorative stitching, and embroidered logos are complemented by raw edges for an intentionally unfinished look. Hand-painted artwork and graphic sketches by KidSuper come to life on the collection’s clothing pieces. Items like the hoodie and puffer jacket feature a printed painting. The sketches of a face morph into a camo print on the top and fleece pants.

PUMA’s classic sneaker models are practically unrecognizable with the collection’s transformations. The RS-2K Slip-on stands out, featuring the same face print inspired by the camo style of the tops and fleece pants and a quilted upper. The Mirage Mox and Trailfox Boot undergo colorful transformations and showcase unique aspects like leather pieces stitched on the collar to hold a pencil on the Trailfox and tie dye laces on the Mirage Mox. The Vesuvo offer a slimmer option, with a white leather upper and a semi-transparent rubber overlay on the heel, KidSuper embroidery on the straps, and foam edging on the Formstrip and tongue.

The PUMA x KidSuper collection is available starting March 13 online at PUMA.com, in PUMA Stores, and at selected retailers.
