Puma celebrates the 10th anniversary of Sneakers76, the historic sneaker store in Taranto. They do it in grand style, creating a version of the iconic shoe Blaze of Glory, born in the early 1990s as a running shoe, which has marked an unforgettable decade for the sportswear brand under the Kering group. The sneaker Puma x Sneakers76 Blaze Of Glory Soft (available exclusively starting December 17 at Sneakers76, and from January 7, 2017, it will also be available in select stores across Europe) is crafted in fresh color tones inspired by the dolphin, a protagonist of myths and legends about the foundation of the city of Taranto. It features a soft suede upper in a sand-like color, while the tongue and the blue-finished sole recall the colors of the sea and its waves. The blue elastic lace-up closure, embellished with brown suede details, creates a deluxe color combination. Additionally, the inner sole showcases the embossed leather logo of the Taranto store. The gold Puma logo on the heel stands out.
To celebrate this significant anniversary, each pair of Blaze Of Glory Soft will be sold in a special History Box linked to the saga A Tale Through Stories, Legends, and Symbols of our Territory, which also includes an exclusive cleaning kit by Jason Markk, a brand recognized by the sneaker community for shoe care products.
