PUMA adds a new icon to its famous Rider franchise with the innovative Wild Rider.

The Wild Rider takes PUMA’s selection of “Futro” styles to the next level, referencing different decades, mixing and combining them with modern technologies and construction techniques. Wild Rider pushes forward the Rider product language, evolving it with new layers of material and futuristic circles on the midsole. Drawing inspiration from the 80s Easy Rider II OG, the design is a collage of past and future fused together, which can be seen in the concave holes on the midsole and the studded rubber midsole overlay. Featuring a nylon upper with high-quality suede overlays, TPU details on the eyestay and heel, sponge lining, decorative stitching on the upper, and the special Rider foam. Only the heel showcases a series of unique design finishes like the formstrip on the pull tab, the “Designed by PUMA” print embellished on the back, the suede overlay, and a Futro-inspired accent to further play on the idea of movement that serves as inspiration for the sneaker.

The Wild Rider is available online on PUMA.com, in PUMA stores, and at selected retailers starting this Saturday.
