Puma and Limited Edt, the famous sneaker store in Singapore, celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country’s independence by creating a limited edition footwear. The** Puma x Limited Edt Blaze of Glory SG50** sneaker features details inspired by one of Singapore’s most famous tourist attractions, the Merlion, a statue of a mythological creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish, a symbol of the country. “Since its opening in 2003, Limited Edt has become a reference point for sneaker enthusiasts,” says Gabriel Yap, Head of Marketing at Puma Southeast Asia. “We are truly excited to have collaborated to celebrate the nation’s 50th anniversary.”

The Blaze of Glory SG50 model has been enhanced with the addition of premium materials and contrasting textures reminiscent of the mythical creature. The upper features parts in silver gray pony hair and 3D scales made of reflective 3M material, representing the Merlion’s mane and body respectively. The semi-transparent speckled rubber sole represents the emerging water.

The sneaker, produced in a limited run of 215 pairs, is exclusively available for sale in Italy at Slam Jam in Ferrara, Sneakers 76 in Taranto, and Urban Jungle in Rome.
