A creative triad with an oriental flavor brings three colorways of the adidas ZX 8000 to the shelves.

After some leaks by Sin Takizawa last week, UNDEFEATED has confirmed the collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD and adidas. The initial unveiling had shown two colorways of the ZX 8000 in addition to the recent releases available, in view of this model’s 30th anniversary which fell in 2019.

Among the notable changes are the addition of texture to the outside of the midsole on the heel, as well as a hidden zippered pocket on the top of the tongue, also used in the recent collaboration of UNDEFEATED x BAPE ZX 8000.

Additionally, the carbon-fiber-look inserts are actually more akin to ballistic nylon, and the overlays are leather on the white version and brushed synthetic mix on the black. Furthermore, the accents on the toe are reflective material and the Three Stripes logo is made of a thick canvas. As a finishing touch, the stripes and co-branded NEIGHBORHOOD and UNDEFEATED logo are printed in typographic characters, with a double logo on the heel.
