The Sneakers Laundry service will be inaugurated on April 15th, and it will be the first laundry in Veneto specifically for sneakers to offer a tailor-made cleaning service that is completely manual.
“Cleaning sneakers, especially if they are made of special or collectible materials, is a delicate operation and with DIY, there is often a risk of ruining the footwear,” commented the owner of the concept store, Vittorio Tomasella. “Therefore, I decided to bring a service to Treviso that is very successful in cities like Los Angeles or Sydney: the customer can entrust us with their shoes and choose from various customizable options such as basic cleaning, full cleaning, or extra services like water repellent treatment, lace replacement, etc., with the guarantee of obtaining perfectly clean shoes thanks to the use of the best specific professional products.”
Vittorio, 30 years old, a native of Treviso and a great sneaker expert who has been collecting shoes since he was a child with a “personal heritage” of over 270 pairs of shoes to his credit, some of which are very rare, a year ago decided to open a store in Treviso dedicated to the sneaker cult where you can buy limited edition models that are difficult to find and niche brands for true connoisseurs. A challenge that has led Habitat to become a point of reference for collectors and sneaker addicts who now come from all over the Triveneto region in search of limited edition models or even those out of the market, which Vittorio often manages to source.
