The new SB Dunk Low borrows several color cues from Nike Lab’s outdoor line.
One thing that remains consistent in Beaverton is certainly the self-referential aesthetic. The archives of the Oregon giant are usually the first point of reference for inspiration, and it is no different with this SB Dunk Low.
Just like with the recent 2020 ACG Terra, the silhouette takes inspiration from Nike Lab’s specialized outdoor line, this time the muse of reference is the 90s hiking boot “Caldera.” The suede upper features the characteristic olive, purple, and cobalt colors of the Caldera, while the Zoom Air cushioning is at home on all terrains, not to mention its skateboarding nature for which it was designed.
