Big news from Nike: the most famous American sportswear brand presents two new models of sneakers: Nike Free Sockfly and Nike Air Rift.
The first, like the pioneering Nike Sock Racer from 1986 that preceded it, has been stripped of all unnecessary elements to represent a natural extension of the foot itself. A Velcro closure replaces the laces making them even easier to slip on, while the seamless and breathable mesh upper is designed to provide maximum comfort and breathability.
The second, inspired by the 1996 Air Rift model, has a distinctive style and features a mesh fabric construction of the upper ensuring maximum ventilation. The distinctive toe separation, along with a super flexible sole designed from the concept of natural motion, ensures maximum traction. A strap closure at the heel and around the foot’s collar provides optimal stability and a customized fit.
The Nike Free Sockfly and Nike Air Rift sneakers are both available at Nike Sportswear and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
