Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico Orange Frost are a burst of energy and color for your summer outfits

The Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico Orange Frost are the sneakers to add to your collection, whether you’re used to dressing in black or have a natural predisposition towards colorful items. Why? In the former case, you can create a bright contrast with the soberness of your look; in the latter, they become the perfect complement to the most intoxicating color combos.

As with the Air Jordan 1 Quai 54, Nike launches a special annual collection dedicated this time to Puerto Rico. Just a few weeks ago, we had a first look at the upcoming colorways of Nike’s Air Max 1.

The model in question has already represented the Caribbean territory in the past thanks to a pair of sneakers included in the 2019 collection. Now, the official images of the Air Max 1 “Orange Frost” have been released online in anticipation of the June release.

Nike demonstrates a special attachment to Puerto Rico by creating special colorways of footwear dedicated to this fantastic archipelago. In the past, we have seen the Swoosh produce Air Trainer 1, Air Max 97, and Air Force 1 Low with the typical colors of the place, and now the Beaverton brand is gearing up to add a pair of Air Max 1 to the already rich repertoire.

The timing is perfect, as the national holiday of Puerto Rico has just been celebrated. For this initiative, Nike’s designers have created one of the variants with a dirty white midsole, blue overlays, and ornamental gold Swooshes, with a palette similar to that of the Air Force 1 Low launched in 2022. The red eyelets and the branding on the heel reference the flag of the Caribbean island, while the laces adorned with the Puerto Rico inscription are finished in metallic silver.
