An old favorite of New Balance fans returns in this classic reimagining of the P550 in collaboration with the brand by Teddy Santis.

Teddy Santis of Aimé Leon Dore has been a basketball enthusiast for a lifetime, so it made perfect sense for him to assist New Balance in developing the 550, a modern version of the retro basketball sneaker P550 sourced from the brand’s historical archives and revived in 2020. The hype surrounding the 550 is just as tangible now as it was with the initial remake, and now the collab adds an interesting crest to the model. Just like its predecessor, it is crafted with a clean white leather upper adorned with dark blue and red co-branding. Other retro features focus on the sole and midsole, where ivory accents on the sturdy rubber sole have a vintage-inspired nod recalling the late ’80s OG P550 version.
