New Balance presents the shoe dedicated to the Rome Marathon

It’s called 1980 Zante the shoe that New Balance, as technical sponsor, dedicates to the Rome Marathon -, a 42-kilometer race with passages through some of the points that have made the Italian capital famous worldwide: from Piazza di Spagna to Piazza San Pietro, all the way to Via dei Fori Imperiali, the starting and finishing line -, scheduled for next March 22. The Fresh Foam Zante is a model that stands out in the daily use of runners who demand a natural and fast sensation, in a shoe that is soft and flexible at the same time. Designed for lightweight runners, it’s ideal for races and fast workouts, and thanks to its technologies it facilitates the forefoot push. The dominant color of the shoe is gray, the same color as the armor of the legionaries, the basic unit of the most famous army in history, while the laces and sole are red, like the reference color of New Balance.

The use of Fresh Foam technology allows Zante to offer perfect control of the foot push: thanks to the air mesh upper with heat-welded reinforcements, and the seamless inner lining, maximum comfort is ensured, while the midsole offers a soft cushioning sensation. Hexagonal designs with concave and convex geometries, at the points of maximum impact, enrich the style and functionality of the shoe. The shoe will be available from early March in selected stores, at the price of 130 euros.
