New Balance Athletics introduces the new silhouette 57/40, a reinterpretation of the iconic New Balance 574. The New Balance 57/40 is a fresh take on the iconic 574 model with a reference to the 5xx series. A classic for over three decades, the New Balance 574 has been one of the most revered sneakers in the industry and is now one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. With the release of the 57/40, New Balance offers the most expressive silhouette within the 574 family.

The upper of the 57/40 is reinterpreted with an 80s meets 90s aesthetic. The classic 574 lines have been altered for a modern yet heritage-inspired look. The traditional N logo is enlarged, resembling that of the brand’s newer silhouettes like the 327. The iconic CR device remains similar but reimagined with a contemporary chunky aesthetic, ideal for the mix of colors present. The sole offers a contemporary appearance with two stacked midsoles: one inspired by the 90s heritage with a wider and wavier design, and the other a traditional 574 midsole. The widened off-road sole is a nod to the heritage trail of the 574.

The initial drop of the NB 57/40 for men will be available globally starting from January 29th at a price of €140.00.
