The new silhouette is a nod to the classic 574 series, but with distinct elements of modern design.

The New Balance 57/40 is a fresh interpretation of the iconic 574 model with a reference to the 5xx series. A classic for over three decades, the New Balance 574 has been one of the most revered sneakers in the industry and today stands as one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes.

The upper receives an aesthetic upgrade that combines elements from the 80s and 90s. The classic lines have been modified for a modern silhouette that remains true to the classic New Balance DNA. The traditional N logo is enlarged, making it similar to that of the brand’s newer silhouettes like the 327. The iconic CR device remains similar but is reinterpreted with a contemporary and chunky aesthetic, ideal for the mix of colors present.

The New Balance 57/40 also features the label on the tongue “The Intelligent Choice”. The upper is made up of a mix of leather, suede, and mesh and showcases a blend of vibrant and pop colors.
