Ok. Here we are. The long weekend dedicated to basketball giants is approaching. The excitement in New York and among all fans is sky-high. With absences (injured Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade) and presences, it seems like this 64th edition is all about LeBron James. The best and strongest NBA players will come together for a two-day event full of intense emotions. So much sports with games, competitions (the dunk contests being among the most anticipated), but not only that. Because during the NBA All Star Weekend anything can happen. Even a parade. A fashion parade. Yes, you read that right. The man of this basketball long weekend, LeBron, is organizing a fashion show at the Hammerstein Theater in New York for the first time. And he’s doing it with all the trimmings. The parade will be divided into three parts presenting three different collections depending on the occasion: boardroom, night, big game. The NBA players themselves will walk the runway: James Harden, Klay Thompson, Chandler Parsons, DeMarcus Cousins, and Zach LaVine. After all, it was bound to happen sooner or later, right? The basketball champions are increasingly involved in the world of fashion. Not surprisingly, during the NBA All Star Weekend, from Marco Belinelli to James Harden, many will wear Nike sneakers created specifically for them, once again sealing the intersection between fashion and the world of sports.
