Mattia Giordano, artist, photographer and director, has interpreted the new Moaconcept Disney Collection SS21.
The artist, born in Turin in 1995, has always developed his works between photography and video, contaminating his aesthetic research through painting and creative performance by narrating everyday objects seen through a unique, ironic, and conceptual perspective.
Moaconcept, a brand increasingly focused on supporting and promoting the work of Italian and international artists, asked Mattia Giordano to tackle some models from the Disney SS21 collection, leaving them to his free interpretation. Thus was born the video art performance “Precarious Balance 2,” whose concept explores the desire to return to childhood, through the transformation of common objects into playmates, that desire to have fun and be creative that seems to get lost over time. The Moaconcept Disney Collection SS21 evolves the Disney concept and the use of Mickey Mouse, evoked, stylized, scribbled, sketched with extraordinary hyperboles and a refined use of the character.
