Italian and American fashion, once again together, in a new pair of sneakers made from one of the world’s most famous cashmere. Missoni presents the new collection of slip-on shoes in collaboration with the American brand Converse. There are two models for the F/W 2015/16 season: the iconic slip-on shoes and the new sporty ankle boots in silk, embellished with an elastic sock, also made of cashmere.
The new footwear is inspired by the artist, both as muse and as expressive force, through a journey along the Trans-Siberian Railway, in search of adventures and discoveries. The wild territories of Russia, Mongolia, and China, the indigenous tribes and their eclectic cultures, blend and merge into one another, stimulating his senses. Immersed in this journey, the artist’s goal is to shape and unify this convergence of unstoppable stimuli and uncontrollable emotions.
