After Pitti Uomo and runway shows, we can say that in terms of men’s footwear for the upcoming fall-winter, we are not short on options. This weekend, to add more to the mix, the Micam opens in Milan, the most important international fair dedicated to shoes. Around 1500 exhibitors from all over the world will present the latest trends. In the gallery above, you will find a selection of brands and models that give insight into the footwear market direction. Beyond the shapes, sneakers continue to dominate the scene. Attention is given to the use of natural materials like bamboo (El Naturalista) and contemporary details such as rubberized leather and unique rubber injections (Voile Blanche). Materials are enhanced by processes like cracked laminated calf and shiny metallic effect mesh inserts (Voile Blanche). Contrasting materials like tartan and leather give a street style vibe to the shoes (Voile Blanche), while colorful suede is paired with technical fabrics like nylon and cordura (Harmont & Blaine). Craftsmanship, intricate details, and high-quality materials are evident in sneakers by D.A.T.E, where classic leathers blend with innovative fabrics. Colors like black, white, petroleum, and plum complement geometric patterns. Harmont & Blaine‘s collection draws inspiration from Naples for the coming fall-winter, showcasing elegance and sophistication. Colors, materials, layering effects, and intricate designs define the collection, with the standout piece being the Oscar – a British-style shoe paying homage to Oscar Wilde’s happy times at Posillipo Hill.
