After leaving AC Milan for the English team Liverpool, Mario Balotelli returns to the spotlight. This time not for changing teams, scandals, or antics, but for a shoe: the retro running Trinomic by Puma, an exclusive project for Foot Locker as part of the Puma Forever Faster campaign celebrating standout individual athletes.

Originally from the ’90s, the PUMA Trinomic technology with a hexagonal cushioning system on the heel allowed runners to break the rules and transition naturally from the track to the street. Much like Balotelli, who was also born in the ’90s and has an unconventional character.

The Trinomic system consists of hexagonal air-filled cells positioned on the heel and front of the shoe, offering perfect balance of cushioning, stability, and flexibility. In addition, vibrant colors and sporty details in a unique design emphasize the style of true sneaker enthusiasts who also seek performance. To complete the look, Foot Locker also introduces a black tracksuit, a red T-shirt, and a black backpack.

“The collection is very different in style and colors, I really like it,” commented Balo. It’s not the usual fashion and lifestyle shoe, it’s definitely unconventional and that’s why it breaks the rules.

The collection is already available exclusively in all European stores and online, ranging from 90 euros for the sneaker to 35 euros for clothing and 50 euros for accessories.
