Sneaker fans will face the problem at some point, or perhaps some of them have already done so. Where to store all the sneakers? Because the must-have models are many, and new releases keep coming in the trainer market. The solution is proposed by Louis Vuitton, which to address this problem and in homage to the Maison’s tradition of keeping the most precious belongings of its clients in luxurious trunks, has decided to create something equally special for the collectors of its sneakers. Inspired by the shoe trunks that have been made to transport the footwear of noblewomen and famous Hollywood stars since the Maison’s origins, two unique special orders are born: a Sneaker Trunk and a Sneaker Box. With a handle in cowhide leather and exquisite finishes, a metal frame, branded rivets and buckles, the Sneaker Box and the Sneaker Trunk come complete with all the traditional features of Louis Vuitton’s rigid trunks, combining craftsmanship and design with modern elegance.

In detail, the Sneaker Trunk, inspired by the iconic wardrobe trunk, is designed to house a vast sneaker collection. Grand double doors open up to provide up to eight drawers for high-top sneakers and six drawers for low-top sneakers. Two mirrors are specially designed and added at the base of the trunk to allow the sneakers to be admired when worn. The drawers and walls of the trunks are redesigned in a fascinating transparent texture with the contrast Monogram design in white, allowing the sneakers to always remain visible. There are also seven visible drawers to contain all shoe care products. In the Sneaker Box, the transparent door of the trunk can be opened from the front allowing the boxes to be stacked on top of each other. Shoes are placed on a gentle slope, behind which hide two secret drawers, designed to hold shoe care products and other essential accessories.

Among the most sought-after Louis Vuitton sneaker models by collectors are the Trainer High Top model, adorned with the cursive LV signature printed on the side and the number “408” in reference to August 4, the Maison’s founder’s birthdate; the Run Away Pulse model, made by combining different technical materials, inspired by trekking footwear. And the LV Trail model, which combines suede calfskin and a light mesh fabric, with a technical sole adorned with the iconic Monogram motif. The V.N.R. (Vuitton New Runner) sneaker is made of knit fabric with tone-on-tone metallic finishes; finally, the Fastlane model in technical fabric is decorated with the iconic V pattern and the LV Circle logo on the tongue.
